MUSIC EDUCATION WITH CONDUCTING (BA)
If you have a talent for singing, a good ear for music, natural physical coordination, musical sensitivity, enjoy working with people – particularly children – you are creative and open to new challenges, then this degree programme is just right for you!
Here you’ll find a combination of knowledge from various fields (history of music, culture, pedagogy, psychology) and practical skills (singing, playing the piano and other instruments, sight-singing, and choral and symphonic conducting techniques). You’ll learn the specifics of working with vocal ensembles, mixed choirs, children’s choirs, chamber orchestras, symphony orchestras and wind ensembles. You’ll acquire a range of skills and competences enabling you to pursue a career in both the arts and education.
Our graduates are highly regarded in the job market as conductors, teachers and managers of cultural institutions.
ARTISTIC EDUCATION IN FIELD OF MUSICAL ART (MA)
Second-cycle specialisations:
- symphonic/choral/wind orchestra conducting
- teaching of theoretical subjects in music education
- jazz and popular vocal performance
On this programme, you can develop your talent in symphonic, choral or wind orchestra conducting and you can also develop your skills in jazz and popular singing. In the case of teaching theoretical subjects in Music Education, you can train to teach theory in music schools. You will learn the specifics of working with vocal ensembles, mixed choirs, children’s choirs, chamber orchestras, symphony orchestras and wind orchestras.
You will acquire a range of skills and competences enabling you to pursue a career in both the arts and education. Our graduates are highly valued in the job market as conductors, teachers and managers of cultural institutions.
COMPOSITION AND MUSIC THEORY (BA)
On this course, we’ll help you develop your talent for creating music!
Traditional compositional techniques will be complemented by new tools for production and post-production, as well as skills in promoting your work on the contemporary music market.
You can develop your individual style in the direction of classical composition or theatre and film music – without having to sacrifice access to the tools and knowledge needed to pursue any musical genre in the future.
In the teaching process, the most important aspect will be the performance of your compositions – how they are received and evaluated by the audience.
RHYTHMICS (BA)
If you are creative, enjoy movement and people, you have a flair for music and a knack for teaching, then the RHYTHMICS course is exactly what you’re looking for!
Rhythmics is the expression of music through movement; it combines various fields of art and supports the development of musical awareness. We will teach you to understand these interrelationships and develop skills that are highly valued in today’s world, as reflected in education, therapy and the arts.
You will acquire a range of skills enabling you to pursue a career in the arts and education. Our graduates are highly sought-after in the job market and find employment in various cultural institutions.
